About the game

A browser adaptation by Zarocer.

Connect five stones on a fifteen-by-fifteen board. Play the computer, share the board with a second player, or continue a daily opening.

Controls

Click or tap an empty intersection. Arrow keys move the cursor; Enter or Space places a stone. Use Undo or Hint from the game tools.

Distinguish an open line from a blocked one

Four consecutive stones with an empty intersection at each end threatens a win in two places. An opponent generally cannot cover both ends with one placement. Check those immediate threats before extending a weaker line elsewhere.

A line blocked at one end has fewer continuation points. Inspect the four directions around a candidate stone and look for moves that create two separate threats. This build uses freestyle: five or more wins. Do not apply Renju forbidden-move rules or an exact-five restriction to this board.

Five stones in a row

Black starts. Place a stone on an empty intersection to build five or more in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line. Freestyle rules count longer lines and do not prohibit particular placements.

Modes and controls

Choose computer difficulty or two players on this device. Arrow keys move the board cursor; Enter or Space places a stone. Undo and Hint are native game tools. The daily opening uses the game’s local calendar date.

Continue in this browser

ZAROCER opens the build in English. Unfinished progress and personal records stay in this browser when storage is available. Use the native continuation controls after a reload. Clearing site data can remove your save. The portal offers Pause, Theater and Fullscreen without starting a separate game instance.
