About the game
A browser adaptation by Zarocer.
A classic game of strategy and discovery with original nautical styling by Zarocer. Arrange five ships on a 10×10 grid and search for the opposing fleet one coordinate at a time. Follow up on hits, read the open water and sink every enemy ship before your opponent sinks yours. Includes three AI difficulties, local saved games and a daily challenge with a date-seeded map.
Controls
Click or tap to place ships and choose a target; Fire confirms your shot. Arrow keys navigate squares, Enter selects, R rotates during deployment. P or Escape pauses combat.
Turn a hit into a directional search
Ships occupy straight horizontal or vertical runs. After a hit, test an orthogonally adjacent unexplored coordinate. A second aligned hit identifies the direction to follow; a miss at one end tells you to investigate the other end. Diagonal shots do not extend that same ship.
Wait for the sunk result before abandoning a damaged ship. This build allows different ships to touch as long as they do not overlap, so do not automatically mark every square surrounding a sunken ship as empty. The computer chooses using public shot results and remaining ship lengths rather than reading your hidden fleet.
How to play
Arrange five ships on your grid, then start the battle. Select an unexplored coordinate and press Fire. Follow adjacent hits to sink ships before the computer sinks yours. The daily mission uses a date-seeded map.
Save and continue
Your progress and preferences stay in this browser. Use the native Continue or Resume option after reloading. Clearing site data can remove saved games. Theater and fullscreen preserve the same running game.
