About the game
A browser adaptation by Zarocer.
A useful bridge in Halma belongs to neither player: either colour can leap over it. Race all 19 of your pieces into the opposite corner while leaving routes open for the pieces at the back. This edition plays on the square 16 × 16 board, with three computer levels and a two-player mode for sharing one device. Medium and Hard plan around separate destination squares rather than chasing a single corner; Hard also considers a following move. Hints suggest legal moves, while Undo lets you revisit recent unfinished turns. Piece and destination selectors make precise moves possible on narrow screens. Your ongoing game and results remain local to this browser.
Controls
Click or tap a piece, then a highlighted destination. Use the piece and destination selectors and Move button for precision. Arrow keys navigate; Enter or Space selects; H hints, Z undoes and N opens New game.
How to play
Choose one of your pieces, then a highlighted destination. On a narrow screen, use the piece and destination lists beneath the board and press Move. Fill the opposite camp with all 19 pieces before your opponent.
Modes and local progress
ZAROCER opens this build in English. Progress and records stay in this browser when storage is available. Use native continuation controls after reloading. Clearing site data can remove saves. Pause, Theater and Fullscreen preserve one game instance.
