About the game
A browser adaptation by Zarocer.
Place S or O to form SOS lines horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Each new line scores a point and grants another turn; play against AI, locally or on a daily board.
Controls
Click or tap to choose S/O and an empty square. S and O select a letter; arrow keys move focused squares; Enter or Space activates buttons. H suggests a move; N opens match setup; Escape opens or closes the menu.
How to play
Open the menu, choose a computer or local opponent, select a board size and Start. Pick S or O and an empty square. Completing a word earns another turn; a scoreless placement passes play to the opponent. Fill the board and compare the final scores.
Modes and local progress
SOS turns two letters into a contest over open squares. Place either S or O: every new straight SOS word scores a point and lets you move again. This edition uses the scoring variant on 5×5 and 7×7 boards. Choose three computer levels or share one device with another player. The daily challenge supplies a five-letter opening on 5×5 against Hard. Hints suggest a move rather than making it; unfinished matches and statistics stay in this browser. This edition has no cloud-save adapter.
ZAROCER opens this build in English. Progress and records stay in this browser when storage is available. Use native continuation controls after reloading. Clearing site data can remove saves. Pause, Theater and Fullscreen preserve one game instance.
