About the game
A browser adaptation by Zarocer.
Shade repeated numbers so no light number repeats in a row or column. Keep dark cells apart and all light cells connected.
Controls
Click or tap cells to cycle light, dark and circled marks. Right-click circles a cell. Arrow keys move focus; Z undoes, H reveals a native hint and C checks.
Check three constraints together
A repeated number tells you that at least one copy must be shaded, but it does not tell you which copy. Test the consequences: a shaded square cannot share an edge with another shaded square, and the remaining light squares must still form one connected region.
Suppose two copies of 4 occupy the same row. Shading either one removes that conflict, but a candidate next to an already dark square is not legal. A candidate that cuts off a light corner is also not legal. Check the column as well before committing. This is an illustrative decision, not a claim about the starting board.
Mark what you know before guessing
A circle is a working mark for a square you intend to keep light. Use it to record a deduction while you inspect another row. It does not relax the rules: all light numbers must still be unique within each row and column.
If the number conflicts appear resolved but the board is not complete, look for isolated light areas and touching dark squares. Check evaluates the board; a native hint reveals a cell rather than explaining your reasoning. Undo lets you revisit a choice.
Save and continue
ZAROCER opens this build in English. Saved progress and records stay in this browser when storage is available. Use the native continuation controls after reloading. Clearing site data can remove saves. The portal’s Pause, Theater and Fullscreen controls preserve one game instance.
