Reveal safe squares and use the numbers to find mines. Choose Classic difficulty or a shared daily field, with flags, native pause and local records.

Controls

Click or tap a square to reveal it. Right click, long press or use Flag mode to mark a mine. New game starts a fresh board.

Subtract flags from a clue carefully

A revealed number counts mines in all eight surrounding squares, including diagonals. If a 2 touches two correctly flagged mines, every other closed neighbor is safe. If it touches only two closed squares and no flagged mines, both closed squares must be mines. These are conditional deductions: an incorrect earlier flag invalidates the conclusion.

Selecting an open number can reveal its surrounding squares when the number of adjacent flags matches the clue. This shortcut checks the flag count, not whether those flags are correct, so a mistaken flag can still cause a loss. The safe first click protects the opening; it does not guarantee that every later position can be solved without uncertainty.

How to play

Open squares without hitting a mine. Each number tells you how many mines surround it in the eight neighboring squares. Flag likely hazards and reveal every safe square to win.

Modes and local progress

Play classic Minesweeper with a safe first click, Beginner, Intermediate and Expert levels, plus a custom board. Flag mines, open safe areas and chase a faster finish. Touch controls and personal records are built in. Resume your local game after a reload, or tackle a fixed daily field by UTC date with records separate from Classic.
