About the game
A browser adaptation by Zarocer.
Divide the grid into rectangles. Each rectangle must contain one clue and have an area equal to its number.
Controls
Select opposite corners with clicks or drag across the grid. Arrow keys and Enter or Space select corners. Use Undo, Clear or a native Hint.
Compare rectangle shapes before drawing
A clue of 6 needs six cells, including its numbered cell. Its possible shapes are 1 × 6, 2 × 3, 3 × 2 and 6 × 1, limited by the board boundary and neighboring clues. A rectangle containing another clue is invalid even if its area is correct.
Compare all placements of a clue’s possible shapes. If every valid placement covers the same nearby cell, that cell belongs to the rectangle. Clues close to an edge often have fewer possible placements. Do not leave isolated uncovered cells that no remaining clue can reach.
Save and continue
ZAROCER opens this build in English. Saved progress and records stay in this browser when storage is available. Use the native continuation controls after reloading. Clearing site data can remove saves. The portal’s Pause, Theater and Fullscreen controls preserve one game instance.
