About the game
A browser adaptation by Zarocer.
Number Ladder turns a grid into a careful route-planning puzzle. Begin at 1, choose an adjacent square, and place the next number in the sequence. Pre-numbered checkpoints must be reached at exactly the right step, so a tempting shortcut can leave you with nowhere to go. The twelve-level journey grows from compact 3 × 3 boards to 6 × 6 puzzles. Practice lets you choose a board size, while the daily challenge gives everyone the same 5 × 5 board for the UTC day. Hints, undo, and saved games help you explore a puzzle at your own pace. Assisted and restored attempts remain local and are excluded from competitive submission. Play with a mouse, keyboard, or touchscreen, with eleven languages available inside the same game build.
