About the game

A browser adaptation by Zarocer.

Skyscrapers is a logic puzzle where each number is a building height. Fill the grid without repeating heights in a row or column. The clues outside the board tell you how many buildings can be seen from that direction: a tall tower hides shorter buildings behind it. Compare the clues, keep track of possibilities and find a height that fits both its street and its column. Follow a journey of 18 districts from 4×4 grids to larger 5×5 and 6×6 cities. Free play creates a new puzzle at your chosen size. The daily challenge gives everyone the same 5×5 city and changes at midnight UTC. Every generated puzzle is checked for a unique solution. Notes let you keep possible heights in a cell. Check highlights repeated heights and completed lines that disagree with their clues, while hints reveal one correct height. Assisted results stay local. Your city and preferences are saved on this device so you can come back later. Personal records are local; global rankings are inactive in this release. No account or installation is required, and the game contains no ads or trackers.

Controls

Choose a cell, then enter a height from 1 to the board size. Use each height once in every row and column. An edge clue counts the buildings visible when looking into the grid from that side. Use Notes for possible heights and Erase to clear a cell. Check shows rule conflicts. Hint reveals a height and Undo restores the previous entry. Fill the whole city and satisfy every clue to win. Keyboard controls: arrows, 1–6, N and Delete.
