About the game
A browser adaptation by Zarocer.
Binario is a Takuzu puzzle in which you fill a square board with 0 and 1. Every row and column must contain equal numbers of both symbols. Three identical symbols cannot appear consecutively, and no two rows or two columns may match. The initial clues are fixed, and every generated puzzle has exactly one solution. Choose a 6×6 board for a smaller puzzle or explore the 8×8 size. Free play creates new puzzles, while the daily challenge uses the same seed for everyone on each UTC date and board size. Actual difficulty varies between puzzles; board size is not a calibrated difficulty rating. Play with a mouse, keyboard or touch screen. Hints, undo and rule checking are available and mark your result as assisted. Games and personal records are saved locally. You can continue a saved puzzle without an account, and the global ranking is currently disabled. Sound, high contrast and reduced motion can be adjusted in settings.
Controls
Tap an empty cell to enter 0, then tap again to cycle to 1 and empty. Keep equal numbers of zeros and ones in every row and column. Avoid three consecutive identical symbols and matching rows or columns. Use arrow keys to move, 0/1 to enter, Delete to clear and Escape to pause. Fill the entire valid board to win. Dotted clues cannot be changed.
