How to play

Move every tile up, down, left or right. Matching tiles that meet merge into one tile worth twice as much, only once per move. Keep space open so the grid does not fill. Create a 2048 tile to win Classic mode, then continue playing if you wish.

Modes and local progress

Number Merge builds on the familiar 2048 number puzzle: every move slides the entire board and merges equal tiles. Reach 2048 in Classic, race to 512 in Sprint or open up a 5×5 wide board. The daily challenge starts from a shared layout, and your current game saves automatically in this browser.
