Place one tent beside each tree, using the row and column totals to narrow the options. A tent pairs with a tree directly above, below, left or right. Two tents may never touch, including at a corner. The finished board must give each tree its own tent.
Fill the grid with digits 1 through 9. Each row, column and 3×3 box contains every digit once. The dotted cages add a second constraint: their digits must add up to the printed target without repetition inside that cage. Every complete row, column and box therefore sums to 45.
Samurai Sudoku joins five 9×9 grids through four overlapping 3×3 boxes. Every row, column and box in each grid needs digits 1 through 9 exactly once. An entry in a shared box must satisfy both grids, so deductions in an outer grid can help the central one.
Place the digits 1 through 9 once each in the 3×3 square. All three rows, all three columns and both main diagonals must total 15. Fixed clues stay in place. The center is always 5 in a valid square; think about the remaining pairs as you fill the surrounding cells.
