NewCanfield SolitaireThe waste pile does not follow one universal rule
Solitaire variants can use similar cards but different legal moves. In this selection, compare adjacent-rank play with pairs totaling thirteen before choosing a deal.
Golf and TriPeaks differ at the ends of the rank sequence
Both games play exposed cards one rank above or below the waste. Golf Solitaire in this edition does not connect an ace to a king. TriPeaks does allow that connection. Read the variant before planning a chain, because a move that works on one table may be blocked on the other.

Pyramid clears sums instead of sequences
Pyramid Solitaire removes uncovered pairs totaling thirteen; a king clears by itself. Its objective is to clear the 28 pyramid cards, using the stock and one recycle. Availability matters as much as arithmetic: a covered card cannot be selected just because its rank makes the right sum.
