BetaChinchónCompare a shared tile table with a draw-and-discard hand
The current rummy selection contains Tile Rummy and Chinchón. Both build combinations, but their opening, turn structure and ending rules differ. Neither should be treated as a generic substitute for every rummy variant.
Tile Rummy lets you rearrange after opening
Open with 30 points from your own rack, then extend or rearrange the shared table. Every table tile must belong to a valid combination at the end of your turn, and you must contribute at least one rack tile. This open-joker variant permits moving a joker when the final table remains valid.
Chinchón keeps the draw and discard central
This edition uses a 40-card Spanish deck without jokers. Draw from the stock or the visible discard, build sets or same-suit runs and discard. Closing needs at least six melded cards and no more than one unmatched card worth five or less. You cannot lay off cards onto the rival’s melds.
