Take turns using the same device
Local multiplayer describes where the players participate, not an internet matchmaking service. These games offer shared-device rules, and the turn sequence depends on the board.
One mark per turn or an extra turn for a box
Tic Tac Toe alternates X and O until a line wins or the board draws. Dots & Boxes grants another turn after completing a box, so a scoring sequence can continue beyond one line. Select the two-player option before starting.
More seats and a choice of finish
Snakes & Ladders can share one device with up to four people. The classic finish needs an exact roll; the flexible finish accepts reaching or passing 100. Agree on that rule before a match, because a final roll can have different consequences.
