Snake Neon
Steer a growing snake through a grid, collect fruit and plan your next turn before the path closes behind you. Choose Classic, Rush, Maze, Zen, Wrap or Daily Challenge, with keyboard and touch controls in the browser build.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD to steer. Swipe or use the touch D-pad on mobile. Space or P to pause
Keep a route open
Your snake keeps moving once the run starts. Turn toward fruit to increase your length and score, but remember that the path you just crossed can become a barrier made from your own body. A good turn leaves enough space for the next one. In modes with solid boundaries, reaching the edge can end the run; Wrap offers a different relationship with those boundaries.
Use the selected mode's instructions before starting. Classic provides the familiar growing-snake challenge. Rush, Maze, Zen, Wrap and Daily Challenge add the alternatives shown in the mode menu. Difficulty is selected separately. A result in one mode is a personal record for that mode, rather than a score in a live competition with other players.
Keyboard, touch and pause
Use the arrow keys or WASD to steer. Touch controls include a directional pad and swipe input in the game. An opposite turn can be illegal when it would immediately send the snake into its body; use a sequence of turns with room to complete them instead. Keep keyboard focus inside the player when steering so that the portal does not receive your movement keys.
Space or P invokes the native pause control. The portal's Pause control also suspends the running game through the reviewed local adapter. Resume the same run when you are ready. Restart clears the active run, so use Pause when you only need a break. Fullscreen increases the available playing area while keeping the same embedded game instance.
Local progress and daily play
An unfinished run can be saved in this browser and offered for resumption. Personal bests and sound preferences are also local. A fresh browser, another device or cleared site storage will not automatically have the same records. The game's daily mode is a built-in challenge; it does not imply a shared online lobby or an account.
Golden fruit, combos and temporary powers can affect a run according to the selected mode. Watch the visible game feedback rather than treating every fruit or mode as identical. The portal does not publish invented online-player totals or rank your score against other visitors.
