Letter Trail
Read a clue and arrange the available letters into the matching word. Follow an eight-word Journey, practice without competitive scoring, or try a five-word Daily Challenge. Unfinished selections and progress can stay in this browser.

Turn the clue into a word
Each round displays a clue and a rack of scrambled letters. Choose letters in the order you want them to appear in the answer slots, then submit your word. The rack contains the letters needed for that round, including repeated letters when the answer uses them. Matching a familiar pattern can help, but the clue is what distinguishes the intended word from another arrangement.
A correct answer moves the session to its next word. An incorrect guess clears your selections so you can try again. You can remove a selected letter, clear the arrangement or shuffle the rack. Shuffling changes the order of the available letters rather than choosing a different answer. Skip advances past a word without awarding its solved points.
Choose the right session
Journey contains eight words at your selected difficulty. Daily Challenge selects five words across the available difficulty tiers. Practice provides a session without competitive scoring, allowing you to focus on solving the clues. The result screen distinguishes solved answers from skipped ones rather than pretending that every completed session was a perfect win.
Each word allows up to two hints. Hints reveal the beginning of the answer and affect scored rounds. Incorrect submissions can also reduce the points earned for that word. Read the score and result summary in the build; these are your local game results, not a global leaderboard on ZAROCER.
Input and saved progress
Click or tap a letter tile, or type a letter to select a matching unused tile. Backspace removes the last selected letter. Keyboard activation of a focused button uses the browser's normal controls. Submit checks the arrangement, while Hint, Clear and Shuffle provide separate actions. The Pause control in the portal temporarily blocks input for this turn-based game; it does not add an artificial countdown.
An unfinished session saves its selected letters, rack and round in this browser. Continue restores a valid session. The language control can switch the build between English and Spanish; changing language during a word rearranges the rack for that language. ZAROCER opens the game in English by default. Saves and personal records do not automatically move between domains or devices, and clearing site storage can remove them.
