Take your seat opposite a computer partner in North American Euchre. This edition uses 24 cards, no joker, a ten-point target and stick-the-dealer bidding. Trump changes more than the order of the suits: the same-colour jack becomes the left bower and must follow trump, even though another suit is printed on the card. Choose Relaxed, Standard or Sharp computer play, go alone when your hand supports it, and review the last public trick before the next decision. Sharp estimates possible hands from its own cards and public play, rather than looking at opponents’ cards or the deal seed. Suggestions cover calls, dealer discards and legal plays. How to play
Team up with the player opposite you. Call trump during bidding, choose one of your six cards to discard when you are the dealer and the upcard is ordered, then play a highlighted card each trick. Reach ten points before the other team.
